We work closely with district schools and respond to the needs of the classrooms which change year over year
We sponsor and send kids to camps, such as the OYO camp who specializes in kids with hearing impairments, reminding them that they can do anything hearing people can do except hear!
We assist kids with hearing aids and other hearing and speech-related needs and lead a hearing aid recycling program
We take students on field trips that offer educational opportunities along with teachers and signers who can maximize their learning experiences;

With the assistance of our state representative, we took a group of kids to the statehouse where they were recognized by the legislature on the floor during an open session.
Hope Is Where the Heart Is
Established in Kansas City in 1912, SERTOMA INTERNATIONAL was created to meet the needs of communities through volunteer service and to improve the quality of life for those at risk or are impacted by hearing loss through education and support.
The Mansfield SERTOMA Club was established in 1940 to support that goal locally. Supporting the entire North Central Ohio region, our club provides educational opportunities and assistance focused primarily on children experiencing hearing loss.
Sertoma wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
